We raced through the night, it amazed me at how quick he was, so very agile. Dodging wheels, sliding under carsm sprinting across vast spans of concrete.

This was my first night out, Thaddeus had been pleading with me for weeks, and tonight after Kimberley fell asleep, I crept through the small gap in the open window. It was a tight fit, but I managed to crawl through. Now, I was barely keeping up with Thaddeus, my hearrt pounding in my ears, panic mixing in with my adrenaline. Bast! It was good to be free.

"Hold up!" I cried out to him. He was moving to fast for me. Thaddeus stopped in one step, and looked back at me.

"Come on slowpoke! We gotta get your pussy arse out more!" He made one of those smiles that let you always know who you were talking to, Thaddeus Ludwig Cornelius. Then, he was gone again, dashing out yards ahead of me.

My breath began to burn in my throat, and I could feel my lungs afire. Bast, I knew I needed to get more excercise.

My friend turned hard at the corner up ahead. I was going to lose him.

Quickly, I slid under a brown pick-up and crossed the well-mowed corner lawn. Thaddeus' eyes were big and full of surprise. He was surprised by my cleverness.

Now, he was darting my way, mouthing something. I stopped and took a breather, while I waited for him to meet me. My side burned, hot and sharp, and Thaddeus was now a blur to me. I could only make out the first syllable of what he said, "Hun."
